Beach tidy

Today we took a break from digging and planting to help the villagers clear the nearby beach. Sadly we cleared most of the plastic you see here from the beach, but none of this is left by people here, it all drifts down from the californian coast, along with large amounts of wood.

It was Charlottes birthday today (she didn't remind us much), so we ignored her all day, and had a surprise party in the evening with pass the parcel, cake, and musical statues as well as toasted marshmallows by the fire.

  3. Happy Birthday Charlotte!

    Tilly,
Sounds like you are having fun! As you may have forgotton we have been in devon all weekend, and as i was just sat there munching :) (granny brings good picnic food) Mummy was asleep and Granny was chatting away, (the other two were fishing on the beach) the tide went out and we got stuck on the mud. Much to say they had us all out(except Granny) heaving the boat off the mud! I was not too amused! Anyway we did get it off thankfully otherwise we would have had to sit there for 5 hours! But yes all good now.

Looking forward to your next blog. :)
    Have fun :)
