Kippers

Well that crater lake walk certainly wore us all out! Just about everyone slept on the bus!

Just had a cracking mongolian meal tonight and are off to Galapagos tomorrow! Woo.

Not entirely sure about the phone signal there we will have to see.

    Hi J,
The Pics look fantastic, I cant wait to see the real ones - with slightly less pixelation when I enlarge them.
We went up a mountain yesterday, including a scramble up a knife edge - fantastic views in every direction. I can believe that Mum did it.
Then we went dancing in the square after dinner.

  4. Bonjour Cath! - You look so cute asleep on the bus! How is everything after that horse ride?!
Thinking of you going off to the Galapagos today - and hope you can keep on blogging from there? Got a couple more days in France, and your little sister is being very good about being dragged off on bike rides. In return, we have had lazy afternoons by the pool and some really good food! Got the message about the RICE!!
Keep on having fun. Still missing you loads, tons of love, Mum (and Dad, who is sitting outside in the sun!). xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  8. Hi Catherine! A well deserved sleep on the bus by the look of it. Fantastic lakes and countryside, and an amazing experience for you all. What a brilliant bit of organisation somewhere along the line - Gold Stars for whoever planned it. Just had a note from your sister's Blueberry - magical technology as far as we are concerned!!
If you get this you will presumably be on San Cristobal. Hope you enjoy the frigate birds: I had to look it up on the internet as I thought it was a bird that got lifts on passing frigates!! Hope you saw the inflated throat pouch - just think what you could store in that!!
Enjoy the rest of your holidays. Lots of love again from G & G. xx

  10. Hi Hendersons
So sorry your feeling commentless. It turns out I am laptopless this summer until I collect one from school - and not in a rush to go back there! So making the most of Andy's laptop while he's at cricket. Have caught up with your bloging finally! Can't wait to here about the Galapagos.
Well here, I have removed a very bad green wardrobe from a bedroom and stripped many layers of wallpaper off the walls and made a very big mess generally. Hopefully mum and dad will come next week and help sort it all out :0)
Hope all goes well with the next part of your trip. Look forward to hearing about it.

    Hi J,
I'm still using the computer in the hotel reception. We did another fantastic walk yesterday; Up, up, up then along a ridge to peak. We had our sandwiches by a little lake with fantastic views. The lake had two species of rare newt which we saw. I could not help thinking of the poor little things hiking up through the forest when they decided to move to the lake - but maybe they took the ski lift up the other side of the mountain.
Thinking of you in the Galapagos.
    Mum sends her love,
    Dad XX

  15. I haven't commented on the blog in a few days, I've been so tired and there's been so much going on.

Not to worry you guys, but we have our results coming out in 2 and a half weeks! I'm so nervous already..

The "pony trek" looks like fun! Ah you must be having the time of your lives, I'm still jealous.

Not much to say today, except I'm so tired! I think I'm going to sleep for a good 15 hours tonight, at least.

    Miss you all! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

P.s. That's a beautiful picture attached to the blog post before this!
