    Hi J,
Crater Lake looks fantanstic - reminds me of Oregon, and Califonia, its a shame we did not have ponies to take us up Halfdome. Or is it? How is your bottom?
Great pics, I will have to drag mum out of bed and down to the reception desk so that she can see them.
The weather forecast is for another wet day. 8-(

  3. Cath - That view is stunning in this pic, and that's lucky you're a 'horse person'! Also congrats on reaching the top of that glacier :) France is fabbbb, gorgeous food, views, and the hotel is amazing! But we cycled 13.5 miles yesterday, so not your scene! See you soon, Torse xxxxxx

    Hi J,
We are getting more than our fair share of thunderstorms in Tuscany! Got totally drenched on Tuesday. I didn't even walk today and the others were back within 2 hours looking like drowned rats! Mountain scenery beautiful. Your crater lake looked absolutely terrific. Wow, what an experience trecking up there! Hope the old leg muscles have recovered!
Love getting the blogs. Thanks Mart!

  6. Hi Ross:- Looks good and fun all that you are doing! Lots of photos to show us we hope?

Big snake went into the pond here, through the net! Ate a huge Frog and then that part of his body which was about 1.5” diameter, was now 3.5”ish and would not go back through the net to get away. And instead of waiting a few days till then food went down it decided to wriggle itself into a huge tangle, it got completely stuck!
We managed to get it out and took a few photo’s.

Hope you are all enjoying the trip!

  10. What a fantastic view! Bet it was worth the trek up - were you all saddle sore? :) I want to be there!! I bet this is giving you a real taste for travelling in the future? I love the tiniest amount of what I've seen in South America and would love to explore more. You'd need to come though Millie as my Spanish is shocking. David has a habit of being very embarrassing when in a foreign speaking country too. 'Can..... you.... tell..... me' Like talking slowly is going to help!! Love Melissa xx

  12. Hi Becky
Glad to see you're having a good time, hope the pizza was nice. Did the boys have sore botty's after the horse riding? Enjoy the rest of your trip, it won't belong before you can start getting your nails nice again!

  13. Hey nannon, i really miss you alot now. and i hate having time on my hands because it's when i miss you the most. so karisa's been keeping me company and taking my mind off of everything :D i really can't wait for you to be back, but you look like your having a great time :) i don't have much news to tell you apart from that my party was fun and tae kwon do's not the same without you. oh and sasha told me to say she missed you alot in art graphics and that it wasn't the same without you there. mums annoying as usual but she's letting me doo quite alot of stuff so it's great, such as letting me catch a bus by myself for once, shocker!! i miss you coming in to my room and swearing at me, so hurry up and get back! oh and by the way, i'm 99% sure i have an alcohol intolerance.... mum loves it. however i am extremely ... annoyed. i love you alot

  16. Louise.. Schnookums, sweetie pie, Hunny Bear, cutie wootie, Pumpkin... I'm so sorry! I didn't realise how that sounded :/ I'll make it up to you when you get back I promise :) perhaps I should just stick with charlottes cheesyness instead!? (she came up with those names by the way, honestly) Alternatively I could just keep it all short and sweet: I miss you and can't wait to have you around again, I don't think I would survive if I wasn't working everyday!
And it's good to see you having a fantastic time out there, words cannot describe how jealous I am of you all! anyway, see you when you get back.
    Brad xxxx

  18. Millie. Stray dogs I can cope with, but don't you be bringing one of those giant tortoises. Actually, take back the bit about dogs; Jet likes being an only child;0) Like the new smiley? I think I got that one from Michael. Matilda's back tomorrow and then you in a week or so...better start cranking up the washing machine, it's had a good holiday. Love you and miss you. Mum xx

  20. Hi Tilly
We did recognise you inspite of the hat and glasses!! Always in the back row too!! Well Oscar has just gone out for his last day of racing. He is in the top half in the racing results so not bad for his first nationals. We are still mixing with the famous sailors and Oscar now has all their autographs on his life jacket. Eliza and Matilda are enjoying the view!! We all went on the rib last night over to Weymouth for an ice-cream after the racing - it is high season so all the sights are out on the streets! E and M are loving the people watching. Enjoy your next location remember we want to see a few photos so hope that there is still some battery left in MY camera!! Take care Love from M D E O and Matildaxxxxxxxxxxx

  21. Dear Louise

Thank you so much for your email. It was lovely to hear from you, even if it was only to request your meal on your return. However, your wish is my command and chick risotto is easy to cook!
Joke, yes of course I'll cook lasagne!
Hope you're enjoying eating fish on the Galapagos islands.
Hugh and Jeremy have just had their last meal before flying out to India tomorrow. Jenny is here helping to organise them!
    See you soon.

    With love
    Mum and Dad!

  23. Hi Tilly

I had a great time in Weymouth watching Oscar & about 489 other Oppie sailors having fun on & off the water. Peter, Eliza & I went for a sail in Swallow on Monday here on the Yealm. On Tuesday we went to QAB to buy the chart you will need for the Greek islands. On the wall in the shop there was a chart of the Galapagos Is. dated 1842. Enjoy the rest of your trip. Love G xxxx
